A Difference In Perspective

To remain objective, you must first consider a difference in perspective.

The age of the earth has been a topic of debate among Scientist and theologians for two centuries,  in fact several Christian ministries have promoted the idea that the earth is less than 10,000 years old. This false belief  was created by Archbishop Ussher (Bishop in the Church of Ireland, from 1625 to 1656) who took the genealogies of Genesis, assuming they were complete, (Which they were not) and calculated all the years to arrive at a date for the creation of the earth on Sunday, October 23, 4004 B.C  The fact is.. The Bible makes no claim as to the age or the date of the earths creation, it is merely a theologians assumption that went, what we would call today, viral.

Anyway, I digress. The below list does not conclusively prove the existence of ancient nuclear weapons, giants or an alternate intelligent species, it does however create a series of unanswered thought provoking questions that may appeal to those who enjoy delving into a difference in perspective.

Note:  The following  dates must be treated as  approximates only as the scientific methods used to establish  ancient dates is not an exact science and is very questionable at times.

Enjoy! and remember, “A fact is not the truth, unless you believe it to be”. KP

29th Century BC

Geologists whilst drilling are at a loss to explain the “fused green glass” found in  Gabon, the Euphrates Valley, African deserts, the Sahara Desert, the Gobi Desert, Iraq, the Mojave Desert, Scotland, the Old and Middle Kingdoms of Egypt, also in south-central Turkey, African deserts and American southern deserts

Discovered also, were ancient cities with brick and stone walls that had literally been vitrified. (fused together like glass), These walls were also found in India, Ireland, Scotland, France, Turkey and in many other locations around our planet.

In fact, Scientists drilling in an excavation near Babylon, in Iraq, found various strata containing evidence of different unrecorded civilizations. They eventually stopped drilling when they hit a solid wall of fused glass which could not be penetrated via any current available conventional drilling heads.

Note  This vitrification of stone can only be achieved via extreme heat such as an atomic explosion.

When archaeologists in the last century, excavated the “Rishi City” of Mohenjo-Daro  translated means “mound of the dead”  in Pakistan, they found skeletons lying in the streets, some of them holding hands, as if some great doom had suddenly overtaken them. (Actual picture above)

Note:  These skeletons when tested were  among the most radioactive ever found, including the skeletal remains tested from Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

  (The Inca stones)

These stones (over 40,000 to date) depict an ancient, unknown civilization,  termed “gliptolithic man.” Shown on these stones  are medical procedures including heart and kidney transplants, C section, anesthesia, acupuncture and the repairing of genetic disorders.

Included also are the descriptions of vehicles which flew through space, also an explanation for the Pampa de Nasca. (Nazca Lines)

Astronomy and the geography of the hemispheres of ancient earth are also written including  the depicted  arrangement of ancient (lost) continents.

     445,000 BC

  • The skeleton of a huge man was uncovered at the Beckley farm, Lake Koronis, Minnesota; while at Moose Island and Pine City, bones of other giants came to light. (St. Paul Globe, Aug. 12, 1896).

  • “A skeleton which is reported to have been of enormous dimensions” was found in a clay coffin, with a sandstone slab containing hieroglyphics, during mound explorations by a Dr Everhart near Zanesville, Ohio in 1880, .
  • In July, 1877, four prospectors were looking for gold and silver
outcroppings in a desolate, hilly area near the head of Spring Valley, not far from Eureka, Nevada. Scanning the rocks, one of the men spotted something peculiar projecting from a high ledge. Climbing up to get a better look, the prospector was surprised to find a human leg bone and knee cap sticking out of solid rock. He called to his companions, and together they dislodged the oddity with picks. Realizing they had a most unusual find, the men brought it into Eureka, where it was placed on display.
The stone in which the bones were embedded was a hard, dark red quartzite, and the bones themselves were almost black with carbonization – indicative of great age. When the surrounding stone was carefully chipped away, the specimen was found to be composed of a leg bone broken off four inches above the knee, the knee cap and joint, the lower leg bones, and the complete bones of the foot. Several medical doctors examined the remains, and were
convinced that anatomically they had indeed once belonged to a human being, and a very modern-looking one.But an intriguing aspect of the bones was their size: from knee to heel they measured 39 inches. Their owner in life had thus stood over 12 feet tall. Compounding the mystery further was the fact that the rock in which the bones were found was dated geologically to the era of the dinosaurs, the Jurassic – over 185 million years old. The local papers ran several stories on the marvelous find, and two museums sent investigators to see if any more of the skeleton could be located. Unfortunately, nothing else but the leg and foot existed in the rock.” Strange Relics from the Depths of the Earth–Jochmans

                                                                             The Bible

Genesis 6:4  There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Genesis 6:1-2  And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Deuteronomy 3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Ch. 6:1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’ And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear ye will not  indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’

Ch. 9:1   And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel looked down from heaven and saw much blood being shed upon the earth, and all lawlessness being wrought upon the earth.  And they [the Nephilim] have gone to the daughters of men upon the earth, and have slept with the  women, and have defiled themselves, and revealed to them all kinds of sins. And the women have  borne giants, and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood andunrighteousness.

Ch. 10:11… And the Lord said unto Michael: ‘Go, bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves [12] with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgment and of their consummation, till the judgment that is [13] for ever and ever is consummated…. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end: and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear: and it shall prove a blessing; the works of righteousness and truth’ shall be planted in truth and joy for ever

Carved into granite and rocks in the Hunan province of China, is what is believed to be the first recorded incident of a UFO sighting in china, The carved granite and rocks depict cylindrical objects (Cigar shaped craft) and weird extraterrestrial occupants..This sighting of strange objects and extraterrestrials from the sky, The depictions date back to the age of the Neanderthals.

                                                           40,000 BC

The “Corredor de los Puntos” lies within Spain’s El Castillo cave. Red disks here have been dated to between 34,000 and 36,000 years ago, and elsewhere in the cave to 40,800 years ago, making them examples of Europe’s earliest depiction of flaming UFO’s cave art.

29,000 BC

This cave painting was discovered in Itolo (Tanzania)  and depicts several flying  discs. it was estimated to be around 29,000 years old.

The above painting is from Kolo and shows four entities surrounding a women. Notice also the entity looking down from inside some sort of box or object.

16,000 BC

Inside the French cave of  Pech Merle near Le Cabrerets are paintings that show a number of saucer-shaped objects. One painting even depicts the figure of a man looking up at one of the saucers.

14,000 BC

This example of rock art is from Toro Muerto, Peru. Notice the beings have some sort of halo or covering over their heads. Also, in the right hand corner of the rock next to the man is some sort of object .

An underwater pyramid dated at around 14,000 years BC. was discovered under Yunaguni Island in 1987. (Above) This pyramid alone could not possibly be explained via natural events, also up and down the coast around the Yonaguni sites are other oddities, not all of which consist of squared-off segements of rock, but instead are distinct circles and spirals of large megaliths and boulders standing alone in flat areas.

Note:  According to what we were taught regarding mans evolution and history at this period, we had not even discovered the wheel yet… let alone built a pyramid.

 12,000 BC  ( Vimana – flying machines)

A fourth century BC text written by Maharshi Bhardwaj, was discovered in a temple in India. The book dealt with the operation of ancient vimanas and included information on steering, precautions for long flights, protection of the airships from storms and lightning, and how to switch the drive to some other “free energy” source, possibly some sort of “gravity drive.” Indian texts from this period tell of anti-gravity space ships called Vimanas, or Astras, In them they describe vimana, as being used for three purposes.

  1  those that travel from place to place;
  2. those that travel from one country to another;
  3. those that travel between planets.

The Ramayana describes a Vimana as a double-deck, circular (cylindrical) aircraft with portholes and a dome. It flew with the speed of the wind.  Ancient Indian texts on Vimanas are so numerous it would take several books to relate what they have to say. The ancient Indians themselves wrote entire flight manuals on the control of the various types of Vimanas which consisted of 4 types.:

1 the Shakuna Vimana,

2 the Sundara  Vimana,

3 the Rukma    Vimana

4 the Tripura    Vimana.

These manuals specified that the craft had to be Impregnable, unbreakable, non-combustible and indestructible also capable of coming to a dead stop in the twinkling of an eye; invisible to enemies; capable of listening to the conversations and sounds in hostile planes; technically proficient to see and record things, persons, incidents and situations going on inside enemy planes; know at every stage the direction of the movement of other aircraft in  the vicinity; capable of rendering the enemy crew into a state of suspended animation, intellectual torpor or complete loss of consciousness; capable of destruction; manned by pilots and co-travellers who could adapt in accordance with the climate in which they moved; temperature regulated inside; constructed of very light   and heat absorbing metals and enhance or diminish sounds.

Vimana Aerial battles and chases are common in ancient Hindu literature. The ancient Mahabharata  speaks of a vimana as “an aerial chariot with the sides of iron and clad with wings.”

NOTE :  The above flying vehicle descriptions and use, comes via ancient texts past down through  the centuries. There is no doubt or scientific dispute that these texts are authentic. So who gave man the knowledge to build such machines ?

11,000 BC  (Dropa Stones)

In 1938, archaeologist Chi Pu Tei discovered a strange alignment of graves in the Baian Kara Ula Mountains, near the Sino-Tibetan border. Also found were cave drawings illustrating beings wearing helmets, the stars, sun and moon. There were also reports of the discovery of small, frail skeletons with unusually large skulls. In 1962, a strange record-like disk found among the graves was translated by professor Tsum Um Nui. The story it told was astounding, to say the least for the discs told the tale of a spaceship, perhaps like a probe or scout ship,       from a distant planet that crash-landed in the Himalaya Mountains region thousands of years ago.                                                                                                                                  They tell how the surviving occupants of the spacecraft, ‘the Dropa’, had taken refuge in the caves of the mountains but despite their peaceful intentions, they had been misunderstood by members of the local Ham tribe who were occupying neighboring caves. The ham tribe distrusted them and hunted down the survivors and killed some of them.

In 10,000 BC The tribes of the time wrote or scrapped on stone simply what occurred at that particular time or location. There is no possible reason why the tribes would take the many hours, days or weeks required to create these tablets and record an event that never happened. The events described on the disk were more than likely recorded as best they understood of the circumstances.

P.O.I – The name Dropa was given by the Chinese in 12,000 BC to extraterrestrial visitors who came down from the clouds in their air gliders.  (Drop Ins J)   Descendants of the Dropa’s still live in the area, and they don’t look Mongolian or Chinese.

NOTE I have included the Dropa stone story, merely for the purpose of displaying how easy it is to convince people of truth,. The fact is…. A quick check of Sungods in exile reveals that the dropa stones was published as a work of fiction. French Ufologist  found the real David H Gamon (not Agamon!), the author of Sungods in exile and asked him about the story. He was quite open about it being fiction, (as he told Fortean times in 1992 (Volume 62: 63) describing it as “his best hoax” ever created.

David Gamon seems to have been the first to spell the name ‘Dzopa’ –  more correctly know as Dropka  a nomadic people  of western Tibet and Nepal and not an alien species at all! In fact, the name means “herder” and is not an ethnic designation at all.  Had me going for a while, but that is what research is all about, finding the truth. KP

10,000 BC

This cave painting dated to.10,000 BC is from Val Camonica, Italy. It appears to depict two beings in protective suits holding strange implements. Some of the paintings have bizarre depictions of what appear to be spacemen wearing suits, visors, and helmets, similar to modern day astronauts.

Sumerian fish god

9,000 BC

The Dogon whose legends say they were guided to the area from another part of Africa that was drying up – by Fish Gods called the Nommo who came in huge ships from the sky.   The Nommos, according to the Dogon legend, lived on a planet that orbits another star in the Sirius system. They landed on Earth in an “ark” that made a spinning decent to the ground with great noise and wind. It was the Nommos that gave the Dogon the knowledge about Sirius B. The legend goes on to say the Nommos also furnished the Dogon’s with some interesting information about our own solar system: That the planet Jupiter has four major moons, that Saturn has rings and that the planets orbit the sun.

NOTE These astrological facts were only  discovered by  Galileo after he invented the telescope in 1609 AD, So how did the Dogon know these facts in 9000 BC ?   Food for thought.

8,000 BC (Australian  Rock carvings)

Aborigines have the longest continuous cultural history of any group of people on Earth – dating back – by some estimates – 65,000 years. Dreamtime is Aboriginal Religion and Culture. In a rock shelter in the NSW Blue Mountains mysterious Aboriginal carvings have been etched into the rock and appear to depict a human-like figure seated in an airborne vehicle.

The rock art of the Australian Aborigines, like those elsewhere in the world, depicts animal scenes together with strange man-like shapes and images. Take, for example, the world famous Wandjina cave paintings of the aborigines of the Kimberley region of Western Australia. These human figures dressed in strange garments and “space-helmet”-type head dresses have been claimed to represent ancient astronauts. The traditions surrounding the Wandjina say these beings from the west across the Indian Ocean in flying ships. Central Australian aborigines believe that far back in the dream-time a great coloured egg came down from the skies to break into pieces upon touching the ground.  The aboriginal shamanic “experience of death and rising again” in the initiation of tribal “men of high degree” finds some fascinating parallels with modern day UFO abduction lore.

NOTE: A further point of interest is the saying passed down through generations of aboriginal tribes regarding aerial beings “ If they are grey run away – if they are blue it’s ok...  Similar mysteries are found in Papua New Guinea, where highland natives believe the first men and women came from a giant “beetle” which landed from the heavens at the dawn of history.  In fact, most primitive tribes and civilizations throughout the world, speak of gods, who came from the sky at the dawn of history to impart culture and agriculture to earth’s primitive inhabitants.

 7100 BC

This hieroglyph discovered in the province of Querato, Mexico in 1966 depicts 4 figures with their arms   outstretched below a large oval object radiating what appear to be beams of light

Note: Could also be the sun or a meteorite,  though it gives the impression of being too close for the sun.

6,000 BC ( Africa)

From the Tibesti massif to the Ahaggar Mountains of the Sahara there is an impressive open-air museum containing numerous archaeological sites. ONE BEING… a strangely suited being complete with helmet and a flying disk  observing.

  5,500 BC ( Utah)

here are  more strange looking figures among tribesman who appear to be surrounded. this time from  Sego Canyon , Utah. Estimated to have been created around 5,500 BC.

5000 BC  ( MAYAN )

Pacal the Great ruled over the Mayan city of Palenque in what is now southern Mexico, during the seventh century. Upon his death, he was buried inside a pyramid called the Temple of Inscriptions. The intricately carved lid of his sarcophagus has become a classic work of Mayan art—and an oft-cited piece of evidence for ancient alien theorists. In their view, Pacal is pictured in a spaceship during take off, with his hand on a control panel, his foot on a pedal and an oxygen tube in his mouth.

4,600 BC

A photo taken in southern Guatemala in the 1930s, showing a head carved in the jungle. dates back to between 3,500 and 5,000 B.C. and is evidence of a superior civilization unlike any known to have lived on Earth. ” After the photo was taken it was published only once, in a magazine that was then immediately withdrawn from circulation. It’s removal was instigated by the government of England because they could not explain its creation.

Note This attitude of hiding the truth is reflected in many a varying subject matter, but in particular, EBE visitor links.

 4500 BC  (Iraq)

This photo  is of a number of reptilian entities found in Iraq. They are dated at 5000-4500 BC. They are currently housed in the British museum.

Note:  Four (4%)  percent of the American population believe lizard people, via shape shifting,  control their’s and the UK government. Jury is still out on this one…

The Ramayana describes flying machines, that navigated at great heights with the  aid of quicksilver and a great propulsive wind. A beautiful chariot which ‘arrived shining speeding through the air’. In another passage, there is mention of a chariot being seen ‘sailing overhead like a moon’ “. The magnificent chariot rose up to a mountain of cloud with a Tremendous din. Another passage reads:  Bhima flew with his Vimana on an enormous ray which was as brilliant as the sun.  The text’s revelations become even more astounding, thirty-one parts of which the machine consists are described, including a photographing mirror underneath.

The text also enumerates 16 kinds   of metal that are needed to construct the flying vehicle, but only three of them are known to us today. The rest of the text remain untranslatable.”   The ancient Indian Vedas  and other text refer to aeronautics, spaceships, flying machines,   ancient astronauts. “A study of the Sanskrit texts has convinced many scholars and scientist that ancient India did know the secret of building flying machines.

4000 BC Mesopotamia  (SUMERIANS )

Seen as one of archaeology’s  oldest recorded ancient civilization, Sumerians lived in the rich and fertile valley between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers ( modern day Iraq.) This ancient civilization is one of history’s greatest evidence of direct influence by extraterrestrials on the human population via agriculture and the advancement of our social civilization. Many religions, occult’s, and cults are based on the old writings of the Sumerian people and what they described as their creation by ancient technological beings who came from the sky.

The Sumerians had contact with extraterrestrial civilizations and according to their text the extraterrestrials also interbred with humans and travelled with them to the stars. The kings were taken to the stars by the extraterrestrials.

NOTE: Sumerian text coincides with “the book of genesis”. These Aliens resembled the Anunnaki. (Those who came from heaven to earth) .The ancient text left by the Sumerians were left un- deciphered till  Zecharia Sitchin, deciphered more than 2,000 clay cylinders  that existed  6,000 years ago. Some of these fragments, which date to 4,000 B.C., are currently displayed in museums around the world.

This strange space suited figure was discovered in Kiev and is believed to have been made around 4000 BC

3067 BC  India

Described in both the Mahabharata and the Bhagavad Purana, is a war with an extraterrestrial being and the giving of an aerial vehicle with weapons unheard of at that time. “ Shiva had been given an aerial vehicle called the Saubha which was as big as a palace, which had miraculous powers like becoming invisible and appearing at different places at the same time.”

“ He flew over Dwaraka in the Saubha ( Flying machine) and destroyed the outer woodlands and gardens. He then directed his attack against the bastions of the city so that his army which was marching over land could easily penetrate it. Flashes of lightning, hail stones, cyclonic storms and clouds of dust were released from the Saubha.”
“Lord Krishna heard of the attack and hurried to his son’s rescue and there ensued a mighty war between the super human, Krishna and the alien- Salva. In this Krishna is said to have fired arrows which resembled thunderbolts and balls of lightning and brilliant piercing rays of the sun.”  The weapons used by Salva makes one suspect that he was using alien technology. His spacecraft made of metal seemed to appear simultaneously at different places like the UFOs. “Very soon he brought the Saubha down with one of his miraculous astras (missiles), charged with the power of potent mantras.”

3000 BC (USA)

These petroglyphs were created 3 thousands years ago by ancient Indians in the American Southwest. According to Indian folklore, two objects collided high in the sky and one crash landed in the region of Death Valley.

Some men arrived (presumably in another ship) and spent some time repairing the damaged Craft and were observed by the local Indians. The two images (above)  depict the ship (left ) used by the men who came to repair the damaged craft (right)

Note: In comparing the two images, the one on the right does seem to depict structural damage around the edges and the bottom.

3000 BC (China)

As early as the Pyramid Texts (ca. 2400 BCE), Pharaoh is said to be carried over the celestial river by Thoth.

2345 BC  (China)

A hymn written in the second century B.C. speaks of a deity appearing in a chariot drawn by flying dragons The, Hsui-nan-tzu, Early Chinese writings tell of a time in earth’s early history when god-like  beings were in charge of people. These gods came down from heaven in the bellies of dragons. Later the ancient people witnessed how the gods and goddesses rode on the backs of the dragons across the skies.

NOTE: The ancient Chinese dragons had the ability to change colour and disappear out of sight in an instant. Additionally, these flying dragons could rise to the skies as well as plunge into waters. They also had abilities to make their bodies large or small as they pleased. In many ancient Chinese texts we frequently learn that “the dragon is born up to heavens; at the same time, it is also able to plunge into the depths of the oceans Most intriguing about these thousands of years old descriptions is the similarity if not exact descriptions of today’s UFO sightings including the dragons plunging into the ocean. These we know today as USO’S  Unidentified Submersible or Submarine Objects.

The above is an artistic reproduction of a relief found in a labyrinth on the island of Jotuo in the Toengt’ing lake, were found in 1957. They also found various reliefs showing “humans” in strange clothes which looked like astronaut suits including hose like objects attached to the clothes. They also found a painting which  resembled the solar system, with the third and fourth planets connected with a line. Also there were ten planets, excluding the sun as planet.

This old Asian scroll from Japan depicts a Japanese merchant happening upon a small flying saucer that’s landed near a rice field. Look carefully at the writing above the craft. The column on the right is not Japanese, it’s a representation of the symbols the merchant saw on the craft and described to the artist who then added them to the scroll for accuracy.

NOTE:  The shape and visible markings reflects exactly what is observed today (21st century)  by witnesses of  UFO landings. The writing is said to be similar to Egyptian hieroglyphics.

2,000 BC (Inca’s)

Pre-Incan civilization records the Gods as being from the star system Pleiades. Inca Ruins have been found as high as 13,000ft  with individual stones weighing up to 20,000 tons. Going by other found records the Inca’s were also well aware that the Earth was round.

  1700 BC

“Ji Gung Land: The people could make flying cars that travelled far with a suitable wind. In Tarng’s day (c.1700 B.C.), Ji Gung people flying a car on a westerley reached Yew Jo. Tarng dismantled their car so it could not be demonstrated to the people … Later an east wind came on which he had them fly the car back to their own country [5,000 km] west of our gateway.”

1500 BC  (Thutmose III)

Pharaoh Thutmose III In Egypt, the Pharaoh Thutmose III sees and records on 3 tablets a silent, foul-smelling circles of fire and flying discs in the sky.  After several days had passed, they became more numerous in the sky than ever. They shined in the sky more than the brightness of the sun, and extended to the limits of the four supports of heaven  powerful was the position of the Fiery Disks.

NOTE The tablet says that at first a single object was observed. Then, within a few days the sky was full of them from horizon to horizon. Then inexplicably, they soared higher into the heaven and positioned themselves to the south At this point, the volatile s began raining down from the sky.

1493 BC

“Gurkha, flying a swift and powerful vimana  hurled a single projectile
charged with the power of the Universe An incandescent column of smoke and flame, as bright as ten thousand suns, rose with all its splendor.
It was an unknown weapon, an iron thunderbolt, a gigantic messenger of death, which reduced to ashes the entire race of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas. The corpses were so burned as to be unrecognizable.Hair and nails fell out; Pottery broke without apparent cause, and the birds turned white. After a few hours all foodstuffs were infected… to escape from this fire the soldiers threw themselves in streams to wash themselves and their
equipment. Dense arrows of flame, like a great shower, issued forth upon creation, encompassing the enemy.
A thick gloom swiftly settled upon the Pandava hosts. All points of the compass were lost in darkness.Fierce wind began to blow upward, showering dust and gravel. Birds croaked madly… the very elements seemed disturbed. The earth  shook,  scorched  by the terrible violent heat of this weapon.Elephants burst into flame and ran to and fro in a frenzy.
over a vast area, other animals crumpled to the ground and died. From all  points  of  the compass  the  arrows  of  flame  rained continuously and fiercely.”

626 BC Jeremiah 4:13

Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled

593 BC   Ezekial  1:4-25

4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north–an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, 5 and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was that of a man, 6 but each of them had four faces and four wings. 7 Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had the hands of a man. All four of them had faces and wings, 9 and their wings touched one another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved. 10 Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a man, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle.

11 Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out upward; each had two wings, one touching the wing of another creature on either side, and two wings covering its body. 12 Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went. 13 The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it. 14 The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning. 15 As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces. 16 This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like chrysolite, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. 17 As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not turn about as the creatures went. 18 Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around. 19 When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose. 20 Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. 21 When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. 22 Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked like an expanse, sparkling like ice, and awesome. 23 Under the expanse their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering its body. 24 When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army.

530 BC   Kings  2:11

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
Elijah and Elisha are talking and suddenly a bright, flying vehicle and a cavalry of bright, flying objects appear and Elijah ascends into the sky by a spinning-flying vehicle. The word translated into horses, ‘cuwc’, means rapid movement or flight.

520 BC Zechariah   6:1

And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

329 BC  (Alexander the greats 1st encounter)

In 329 B.C. Alexander tried to cross the Indus river when he was intercepted by flying, gleaming silver shields These flying shields swooped down on his cavalry several times, making both his soldiers and the enemies soldiers disperse in complete retreat. The chronicler tells of two strange craft that dived repeatedly at alexander’s army until the war elephants, the men, and the horses all panicked and refused to cross the river where the incident occurred. They were described as great shining silvery shields, spitting fire around the rims they came from the sky then returned to the skies.

332 BC

(Alexander the greats 2nd  encounter)

During the siege of Tyre in the year 332 BC, Alexander and his army, were unable to penetrate a particular fortress, even the greatest war machines built by the best technicians and builders of the time could not create an entrance. The fortresses walls were fifty feet high and constructed so solidly that nothing used was able to penetrate or even damage them.

After several days of futile attempts to enter the fortress, there suddenly appeared 5 “Flying Shields” over the Macedonian camp, A chronicler present at the time recorded the following.  “They flew in a triangular formation led by a very large shield, the other shields were smaller in size almost by a half. In all there were five.”  The unnamed chronicler narrates that  One day suddenly there appeared over the Macedonian camp these “flying shields”, as they had been called, which flew in triangular formation led by an exceedingly large one, the others were smaller by almost a half. In all there were five. The unknown chronicler narrates that they circled slowly over Tyre while thousands of warriors on both sides stood and watched themin astonishment. Suddenly from the largest “shield” came a lightning-flash that struck the walls, these crumbled, other flashes followed and walls and towers dissolved, as if they had been built of mud, leaving the way open for the besiegers who poured like an avalanche through the breeches. The “flying shields” hovered over the city until it was completely stormed then they very swiftly disappeared aloft, soon melting into the blue sky.

246 B.C.  (Battery in Iraq)

The  artifacts consist of ~130 mm (~5 inch) tall terracotta jars (with a one and a half inch mouth) containing a copper cylinder made of a rolled-up copper sheet, which houses a single iron rod. At the top, the iron rod is isolated from the copper by asphalt plugs or stoppers, and both rod and cylinder fit snugly inside the opening of the jar which bulges outward towards the middle (reverse hourglass shape). The copper cylinder is not watertight, so when the jar was filled with a liquid, this would surround the iron rod as well. The artifact had been exposed to the weather and had suffered corrosion, although mild given the presence of an electrochemical couple. This has led some scholars to believe lemon juice, grape juice, or vinegar was used as an acidic agent to jumpstart the electrochemical reaction with the two metals.

NOTE; This fact has no real bearing on a UFO sightings but it may however reflect a contact, if not,  where did the knowledge to create the battery come from?

223 BC Rome:

“At Ariminium a bright light like the day blazed out at night; in many portions of Italy three moons became visible in the night time.” – Dio Cassius, Roman History, Book I

222 BC  Rome:

XXV. There are also meteoric lights that are only seen when falling, for instance one that ran across the sky at midday in full view of the public when Germanicus Caesar was giving a gladiatorial show

XXVI. Other similar meteoric lights are ‘beams.’ in Greek dokoi, for example one that appeared when the Spartans were defeated at sea and lost the empire of Greece.

XXVIII. Stars are also seen throughout the daytime in company with the sun, usually actually surrounding the sun’s orb like wreaths made of ears of corn and rings of changing colour

XXXI. Again, several suns are seen at once, neither above nor below the real sun but at an angle with it, never alongside of nor opposite to the earth, and not at night but either at sunrise or at sunset. It is also reported that once several suns were seen at midday at the Bosphorus, and that these lasted from dawn till sunset. In former times three suns have often been seen at once,

XXXII. Also three moons have appeared at once, for instance in the consulship of Gnaeus Domitius and Gaius Fannius.

XXXIII. A light from the sky by night, the phenomenon usually called ‘night-suns,’ was seen in the consulship of Gaius Caecilius and Gnaeus Papirius and often on other occasions causing apparent daylight in the night.

XXXIV. In the consulship of Lucius Valerius and Gaius Marius a burning shield scattering sparks ran across the sky at sunset from west to east.

XXXVI. Also stars appear to shoot to and fro; and this invariably portends the rise of a fierce hurricane from the same quarter.

XXXVII. Stars also come into existence at sea on land. I have seen a  radiance of star-like appearance clinging to the javelins of soldiers on sentry duty at night in front of the rampart; and on a voyage stars alight on the yards and other parts of the ship, with a sound resembling a voice, hopping from perch to perch in the manner of birds. These when they come singly are disastrously heavy and wreck ships, and if they fall into the hold burn them up. If there are two of them, they denote safety and portend a successful voyage; and their approach is said to put to flight the terrible star called Helena: for this reason they are called Castor and Pollux, and people pray to them as gods for aid at sea. They also shine round men’s heads at evening time; this is a great portent. All these things admit of no certain explanation; they are hidden away in the grandeur of nature.

218   BC Rome:

  • Glowing lamps were seen in the sky at Praeneste, a shield was observed at Arpi and in the Amiterno district, the sky was all on fire, and men in white garments appeared.
  • “At Faleri the sky had seemed to be rent as it were with a great fissure and through the opening a bright light had shone.” –
  • Ships were seen in the sky over Italy… 180 Roman miles, east of Rome, in Apulia the sky was all on fire, The populace in Italy were astounded by the sightings of flying ships.

217 BC,

Many people observed what looked like a group of “shiny round shields” in the sky. The objects were described as parma-type shields, disks made of polished bronze. This event was reported by Livy and Orosius. Some modern scholars have dismissed this sighting as “mock suns” or sun-dogs, but that is unlikely since the Romans were familiar with that phenomenon, which they called “double or triple suns.”

216 B.C.

Things like ships were seen in the sky over Italy… At Arpi (180 Roman miles, east of Rome, in Apulia) a round shield was seen in the sky. At Capua, the sky was all on fire, and one saw figures like ships…

213 BC

At Hadria an altar was seen in the sky and about it the forms of men in white clothes

212 BC

In 212 BC, a “huge stone (saxum) was observed flying erratically in the sky,” reported by Livy. This  Object was a grayish-brown color and moved around in an irregular path.  No sounds accompanied these three observations.

170 BC:

“At Lanupium, a remarkable spectacle of a fleet of ships was seen in the air.” Several objects, the size of a star, were observed on a road for two minutes.

163 BC

Formice: “In the consulship of Tiberius Gracchus and Manius  Juventus at Capua the sun was seen by night. At Formice two suns were seen by day. The sky was afire. In Cephallenia a trumpet seemed to sound from the sky. There was a rain of earth. A windstorm demolished houses and laid crops flat in the field. By night an apparent sun shone at Pisaurum.” – Obsequens, Prodigiorum, Ch 114

139 BC

Between 139 BC and 1918 AD – Seven hundred and forty one (741)  UFO incidents have been recorded in China. In some cases the sighting and description of the objects observed are just a  brief inclusion in various logs. Including the books entitled Theatrum Orbis Terrarum by Admiral Blaeu.

99 BC:

From Prodigia of Julius Obsequens, Rome: “When C. Murius and L. Valerius were consuls in Tarquinia towards sunset, a round object — like a globe, a round or circular shield — took its path in the sky from West to East.”

90 BC:

From Prodigia of Julius Obsequens, Rome: “At Aernarie — while Livius Troso was promulgating the laws at the beginning of the Italiian war — at sunrise, there came a terrific noise in the sky. And a globe of fire appeared burning in the North. In the territory of Spoletum, a globe of fire of golden color fell to the earth gyrating. It then seemed to increase in size, rose 2 from the earth, and ascended into the sky where it obscured the Sun with its brilliance. It revolved toward the eastern quadrant of the sky.”

85 BC:

“In the consulship of Lucius Valerius and Caius Marius,  a burning shield scattering sparks ran across the sky.” {Contributed by Thon}

 81 BC

Spoletium: “Near Spoletium a gold-colored fireball rolled down to the ground, increased in size; seemed to move off the ground toward the east and was big enough to blot out the sun.” –

Note: same description as in 90 BC though different location

73 BC

Asia Minor, Pontus: While Roman legions were engaged in battle near the Black Sea against King Mithridates a huge flaming object fell between the two armies. It was said to have a shape like a wine jar and was the color of molten lead.

66 BC

“In the consulship of Gnaeus Octavius and Gaius Suetonius a spark was seen to fall from a star and increase in size as it approached the earth. After becoming as large as the moon it diffused a sort of cloudy daylight and then returning to the sky changed into a torch.

Note:  It was seen by the proconsul Silenus and his suite. ” Possible meteor.

48 BC

“Thunderbolts had fallen upon Pompey’s camp. A fire had appeared in the air over Caesar’s camp and had fallen upon Pompey’s …

42 BC

Rome: From Prodigia of Julius Obsequens, “Something like a sort of weapon, or missile, rose with a great noise from the earth and soared into the sky.”

32 BC

During the first year of the Han dynasty: “Two moons appeared in the night sky all of a sudden.” Other observations, however, are far more detailed like this case from April 13, 905 AD during the Tan dynasty:

 12 BC

Rome: A comet-like object hovered days over Rome for several then melted into flashes resembling torches.

9 BC

Japan, Kyushu: Nine moons were seen in the night sky over the community.

22 AD

In the 3rd month of winter, sixth hour of the day…the scribes of the House of Life wrote about a circle of fire that was coming in the sky…. It had no head the breath of its mouth had a foul odour. Its body, was one rod long and one rod wide. It had no voice. Their hearts became confused through it; then they laid themselves on their bellies…. They went to the Pharaoh…to report it and His Majesty ordered that all should be written in the papyrus rolls of the House of Life. After some days had passed, these things became more numerous in the skies than ever. They shone more in the sky than the brightness of the sun, and extended to the limits of the four supports of the heavens…. Powerful was the position of the fire circles. The army of the Pharaoh looked on with him in their midst. It was after supper. Thereupon, these fire circles ascended higher in the sky towards the south…. The Pharaoh caused incense to be brought to make peace on the hearth…. And what happened was again ordered by the Pharaoh to be written in the annals of the House of Life…so that it be remembered for ever.

60 AD

Scotland: A ‘ship’ was seen speeding across the night sky.

70 AD

From Josephus “Jewish War” Book CXI: “On the 21st of May, a demonic phantom of incredible size… for before sunset, there appeared in the air over the whole country chariots and armed troops coursing through the clouds and surrounding the cities.”

80 AD

“When the Roman emperor Agricola was in Scotland, wondrous flames were seen in the skies over Caledon Wood, all one winter night. Everywhere the air burned. And on many nights when the weather was serene, a ship was seen in the air moving fast.”

95 – 96 AD  Revelation

10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

21 21Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

98 AD

“At sunset, a burning shield passed over the sky at Rome. It came sparkling from the West and passed over to the East.”

This gravestone carving, (above) dated A.D.147, was found in the province of Shantung, China. It depicts a dragon chariot flying high above the clouds. A manuscript called Huai-nan-tsu, a Chinese classic, has a description of ten suns appearing in the sky at once………  it also states that “Spirits came frequently to the people of Earth, to teach the wisdom of the gods.

Taoist tales tell of immortals capable of flying through the air. They were described as being capable of flight with the help of their own divine power. They were described as feathered beings. The term used for Taoist priests is yu ke, meaning ‘feathered guest’.

312 AD

Constantine and his army all beheld in the heavens a luminous cross.

393 AD

Strange lights were seen in the sky in the days of the Emperor Theodosius. On a sudden, a bright globe appeared at midnight. It shone brilliantly near the day star (planet, Venus), about the circle of the Zodiac. This globe shone little less brilliantly than the planet, and little by little, a great number of other glowing orbs drew near the first globe. The spectacle was like a swarm of bees flying around the bee-keeper, and the light of these orbs was as if they were dashing violently against each other. Soon, they blended together into one awful flame, and bodied forth to the eye as a horrible two-edged sword. The strange globe which was first seen now appeared like the pommel to a handle, and all the little orbs, fused with the first, shone as brilliantly as the first globe.

Byzantine Empire: “A thing like a burning globe presenting a sword shown brilliantly in the sky over the city. It seemed almost to touch the earth from the zenith. Such a thing was never recorded to have been seen before by man.”

an Egyptian monk wrote: “From the creation of Adam, indeed down to Enoch and to the general Cosmic Year 1,282, the number of days was known in neither month nor year but the Egregori (‘watchers’ or ‘angels’) descended to Earth in the general Cosmicm Year 1,000, held converse with men and taught them that the orbits of the two luminaries being marked by the 12 signs of the Zodiac are composed of 360 parts.”

France: Conrad Wolffart, known as Lycosthenese, a professor at the University of Basel, Switzerland, from 1539, recorded that in 457 AD, over Brittany in northern France, ‘a blazing thing like a globe was seen in the sky. Its size was immense, and on its beams hung a ball of fire like a dragon out of whose mouth proceeded two beams, one of which stretched beyond France, and the other reached toward Ireland, and ended in fire, like rays.

Noisy aerial phenomena followed by a tremendous lightning storm which had fatal consequences and on 2 occasions some towns people were visited by 2 humanoid looking creatures and for months after were afflicted with a spate of deformed births

Note: The individuals involved, quite likley had contact with above normal radiation levels. Deformed babies were common among surviving Hiroshima and Nagasaki survivors.

France: The Bishop of Tours in France, is perplexed by curious “domes and golden globes that raced across the sky”.

Constantinople As had happened in 570 AD noisy aerial phenomena were followed by lightning balls that proved fatal to some. Then again 2 humanoid looking creatures visited towns people with the same result for months after. Deformed babies.

Japan: A bright object like a human figure was seen over the Gamo riverin Central Japan.

Japan: On the 7th day of the second month of Spring, a star entered the moon. (The Nihongi book two)

Japan: “Five colored banners and umbrellas shone in the sky, and descending, hung over the Temple to the sound of various music.”

Rising at dawn, I saw through the window a brilliant light crossing the Milky Way. I then saw three glowing objects appearing in the southern part of the sky, two of which flew away disappearing rapidly from my view. What remained had five unequal lights underneath, while on its upper part I noticed something shaped like a dome. The unknown object began to move in zigzag in a similar fashion to a falling leaf. At the same time, something in flames fell from the sky. Shortly afterwards, the Sun rose but its luminosity was tarnished by the luminous object which moved rapidly in a northern direction. In the western part of the sky, a green cloud was suddenly agitated by another unknown object, which was oval in shape, flat, and was descending quickly. This object had a length of over nine feet and was surrounded by raging flames; it ascended and then descended. In view of this splendid and emotional spectacle, I ran towards the village to alert its dwellers. As my friends walked out of their houses, the flying contraption disappeared.”

Charlemagne’s castle at Sigiburg. As the Saxons were laying siege to the castle, flying shields that were reddish in color appeared in the sky and rained down fire on the attacking army

“Those watching outside in that place — of whom many still live to this very day — saw they beheld the likeness of 2 large shields, reddish in color in motion above the church. And when the pagans who were outside saw this sign, they were at once thrown into confusion and terrified with fear and began to flee from the castle.”

In the middle of the night, a very large star that looked like a dou (a 10-liter box-like grain measuring container) suddenly appeared in the top of the sky and was floating toward the northwest. When it had reached about 30 meters above the ground, it suddenly stopped and remained still. The top of the star appeared to be burning, and red and yellow blazing flames were as high as 5 meters tall. Later the star started to serpentine. Wherever had it passed, little stars on its sides were moving toward the southeast, and they came down like raindrops that soon disappeared. Meanwhile, pale mist rose from the earth like bamboo thickets toward the center of the sky.

Hungary, An object like a flaming torch was seen in the sky together with spheres that when they flew gave out a brighter light then the stars .

In the town of Verdum ( France ) for the second time in a century thousands of people watched different coloured armies flying over eastern Reims early on a Sunday morning in March of 927 AD.   A similar phenomena happen under King Pepin the short, under Charlemagne under Louis1. The capitularia mentions punishment for those that flew or travelled in aerial ships.

Note: “Punishment for those that traveled in aerial ships”.   This capitularia proves objects were manned and flying around in 927 AD.

Japan: Two objects were seen ‘giving birth’ to smaller luminous spheres over Japan.

During August in Egypt, a number of “stars” were seen to fly over Cairo and the Nile De

A rare typeset book from 1493 contains what may be the earliest pictorial representation of a UFO. The book Liber Chronicarum (or commonly known as the Nuremberg Chronicle), describes a strange fiery sphere, seen in 1034, soaring through the sky in a straight course from south to east and then veering toward the setting sun. The illustration accompanying the account shows a cigar-shaped form haloed by flames, sailing through a blue sky over a green, rolling countryside. This may be the first work that actually contains actual illustrations of UFO’s.

Shen Kuo was a man ahead of his time, centuries before it was accepted Shen said the moon and the sun were round not flat, he accurately described why we have eclipses, and discovered magnetic north. In Shen most famous book “Dream Pool Essay” he had a chapter devoted to “Strange Happenings”. In he he wrote about the following UFO sightings

It opened its door and a flood of intense light like sunbeams darted out of it, then the outer shell opened up, appearing as large as a bed with a big pearl the size of a fist illuminating the interior in silvery white. The intense silver-white light, shot from the interior, was too strong for human eyes to behold;

During the night while General Yoritsume and his army were encamped, they observed mysterious lights in the heavens. The lights were seen in the southwest for many hours, winging, circling and moving in loops. The general ordered a “full-scale scientific investigation” of these strange events. The report finally submitted to him has the “soothing” ring of many contemporary explanations offered for UFO phenomena. In essence it read: “the whole thing is completely natural, General. It is… only the wind making the stars move.

1239:  First sighting

England: From Matthew of Paris: “On July 24, 1239 at dusk  (but not when the stars came out), while the air was clear, serene and shining, a great star appeared. It was like a torch, rising from the South, and flying on both sides of it, there was emitted in the height of the sky a very great light. It turned quickly towards the North in the aery region. Not quickly nor, indeed, with speed. But exactly as it wished to ascend to a place high in the air.”

1254 second sighting

January 1, From Matthew of Paris: At midnight in the clear and serene sky with the stars shining and the Moon 8 days old, there suddenly appeared in the sky a kind of large ship, elegantly shaped, and well-equipped of marvellous colour. Certain monks of St. Albans saw it for a long time, as if it were painted, and a ship made of planks, but finally it began to disappear.”

England, Bristol: A spaceship was seen, which landed and an occupant came down from a ladder and was suffocated in the Earth’s atmosphere

The famous priest Nichiren Shōshū was about to be beheaded at Tatsunokuchi, Kamakura, when there appeared in the sky an object like a full moon, shiny and bright. Needless to say, the officials panicked and the execution was not carried out.

In the first hour of the night of Nov. 4 1322  there was seen in the sky over Uxbridge, England, a pillar of fire the size of a small boat, pallid and livid in colour. It rose from the south, crossed the sky with a slow and grave motion, and went north. Out in the front of the pillar, a fervent red flame burst forth with great beams of light. Its speed increased, and it flew through’ the air….

“During the second year under the rule of Emperor Jianjing [1523], a teacher called Lü Yu lived in the village of Yujiu. One day when it was raining without stop, this teacher noticed two ships that were navigating over the dense clouds above the ruins in front of his house. In these two ships, which measured over ten fathoms [55 feet], men were moving about, they were 11-feet tall and wore red hats and multicolored clothing. They all had a rod in the hands. The ships were moving very rapidly. That day were visiting the teacher’s house some ten men of letters, who alerted by Lü Yu, left the house and walked up to him to observe the phenomenon. The men with multicolored clothing passed their hand over the mouth of the men of letters; their mouth became immediately black and none of the scholars were able to talk. At that moment they saw a man, escorted by a mandarin, dressed as a retired man of letters, who appeared in one of the ships accompanied by a bonzo. Quite a time later, the ships left, as if pushed by the clouds, and proceeded to descend in a cemetery about one kilometer away. Once the ships departed, the men of letters noticed their mouths returned to normalcy. But five days later, Lü Yu died without known reasons

The following is summarized by Chang in his own words:  “At dusk, an object dropping down from the northwestern sky of Dinghai County, Zhejiang Province. In the beginning, it looked like an oval-shaped measuring container, which had a pointed top, a yellow and white thicker bottom, and a maroon bracket holding it up. As it came down amidst blazing fire, it quickly grew to dou-sized; then boulder-sized; then as large as many large jugs put together. The object was glowing extremely bright, which was illuminating the area that people could see tiny hairs. As it was about to crash, it suddenly jumped up in the air, then went up and down several times, and its shadows danced with it. Eyewitnesses from many provinces reported that they all have seen the same thing.” Kai-Chi Chang adds a final comment: “This incident had covered several provinces in a radius of 500 kilometers. This type of detailed UFO report is rare in the Chinese history.

There are two little lakes in front of the residence of Xiong Xiofu. At noon on a summer day of the year Xuwu during the reign of emperor Wan Li While the second incident could be a fireball or some other astronomical phenomenon, the incident involving the object in the two lakes defies any conventional explanation. A meteorite could have fell on the lake with a roaring noise and even boil the water, but no meteor could then jump into the second lake and later resurface and fly over the terrain.

On the evening of August 5th, 1608, three luminous craft visited the sky over Baie des Anges in Nice, France, much to the dismay of it’s citizens. They watched the objects race errantly about for some time, when they suddenly stopped and hovered a few feet above the water. The craft were long, oval in shape and flattened along their lengths, each with a “strange mast” sitting on top of them. The bay waters began to frothe underneath them, giving off a dense orange vapor, accompanied by a loud, unpleasant noise. From one of the craft two vaguely human looking beings appeared. They were described as being dressed in red clothes covered with silvery scales, with huge heads and luminous eyes. The two creatures, holding cables or tubes attached to the craft, jumped into the water and moved about their ship for around two hours. When they returned inside the object, all three left at a high rate of speed, leaving the terrified residents of Nice wondering at what this omen from God could possibly mean.

That same month, on the 22nd, the visitors reappeared further south in Genoa, Italy, where they were greeted by over 800 cannonballs that were fired at them. Although the attack did no apparent damage to the craft, none of the creatures, or aliens emerged from their craft. People there panicked, and several deaths were reported as the result of trampling by terrified people and some overcome with fear. Finally the three objects left.

On the 25th, three days later, a single vessel appeared near Marseilles, over the fishing village of Martigues, and again displayed the same erratic flight maneuvers that had been displayed over Nice. It stopped in mid-air and two beings got out, appearing to engage in an aerial duel of some kind. The following week, there was a heavy fall of red rain, and in the months after churches were packed with worshipers begging to be spared whatever disastrous fate that was about to befall them. While accounts of these events are sometimes ambiguously worded, it is remarkable that so many people in three separate locations could have imagined such strange occurrences at a time when no flying machines existed.

a dark object, round like a ball, rose suddenly over the tree tops and then fell on the lake. It boiled the water upon contact and then in one jump the luminous ball reached the neighboring lake, making a terrifying noise. The water boiled again, becoming yellowish. A while later, the object resurfaced and rose in the sky, passing in front of the gate of Xiong Xiofu. We don’t know where it went.”

Edmund Halley, the astronomer who discovered Halley’s comet, could recall two accounts involving unidentified crafts. His first experience was in March of 1676, when he saw a, as he said, “Vast body apparently bigger than the moon.” He estimated it at 40 mi. above him. He also stated that it made a noise, “Like the rattling of a great cart over stones.” After estimating the distance it traveled in a matter of minutes, he came to the conclusion that it moved at a speed greater than 9,600 m.p.h.

Here is his eyewitness account: “Something in the sky which appeared in the north but vanished from my sight, as it was intercepted by trees, from my vision. I was standing in a valley. The weather was warm, the sun shone brightly. All of a sudden it re-appeared, darting in and out of my sight with an amazing coruscation. The colour of this phenomenon was like burnished, or new-washed silver. It shot with speed like a star falling in the night. But it had a body much larger and a train longer than any shooting star I have seen. Next day Mr. Edgecombe informed me that he and another gentleman had seen this strange phenomenon at the same time as I had. It was about 15 miles from where I saw it, and steering a course from east to north

From an account by a Fellow of the Royal Society, England: “I was crossing St. James park when a light rose from behind the trees and houses from the South and West, which at first I thought was a rocket of large size. But when it rose 20 degrees, it moved parallel to the horizon but waved like this {the speaker drew an undulating line} and went on in the direction of North-by-East. It seemed very near. Its motion was very slow. I had it for about half-a-mile in view. A light flame was turned backwards by the resistance the air made to it. From one of burning charcoal. That end was a frame like bars of iron, and quite opaque in my sight.

At one point on the longitudinal frame or cylinder, it issued a train in the shape of a tail of light more bright at one point on the rod or cylinder so that it was transparent for more than half of its length. The head of this strange object seemed about a half-a-degree in diameter, and the tail near 3 degrees in length.”

“We hear from Perthsire, that an uncommon phaenomenon was observed on the water of Isla, near Cupor Angus, preceded by a thick dark smoke, which soon dispelled, and discovered a large luminous body, like a house on fire, but presently after took a form something pyramidal, and rolled forwards with impetuosity till it came to the water of Erick, up which river it took its direction, with great rapidity, and disappeared a little above Blairgowrie. The effects were as extraordinary as the appearance. In its passage, it carried a large cart many yards over a field of grass; a man riding along the high road was carried from his horse, and so stunned with the fall, as to remain senseless a considerable time. It destroyed one half of a house, and left the other behind, undermined and destroyed an arch of the new bridge building at Blairgowrie, immediately after which it disappeared.

The German poet, dramatist, author and scientist Johann Goethe was himself a witness to a strange luminous object. He was journeying from Frankfurt to Leipzig by stagecoach. At one point the rough uphill track was so treacherous from mud and rain that the passengers were forced to alight and follow on behind! It was then that Goethe suddenly became aware of lights in the ravine below them. Writes Goethe: All of a sudden, in a ravine on the right hand side of the track, I saw a sort of amphitheatre, wonderfully illuminated. In a funnel-shaped space there were innumerable little lights shining, ranged step- fashion over one another; and they shone so brilliantly that the eye was dazzled. But the sight was even more confusing because these objects did not keep still, but jumped about here and there, as well as downwards from above.

Boulogne, France. Flight of numerous glowing disks pass over the city.

“Yesterday evening, at about half past nine, a ball of fire, seemingly as large as the moon at full, was seen to rise out of the sea towards1 the North, and passing over this city seemed to burst, and disperse with great rapidity towards the south. As it passed it seemed to drop particles of fire of a bluish colour, of the size of a star; upon the whole, this phenomenon, which lasted two minutes, was very much like a rocket going off, but of a much larger magnitude, and whilst it passed it was as light as day.”

In June 1783 a strange a strange sight was to behold royalty in the yard of Windsor castle. “An oblong cloud moving more or less parallel to the horizon. During the summer, Police Inspector Liabeuf witnessed and investigated a large red globe as it flew over farmland. The globe landed and a man came out and spoke in a language none understood. The globe then exploded and the man disappeared. The event was witnessed by many and is well documented.

“At 5 A.M,several farmers caught  sight of an enormous globe which seemed surrounded with flames. First they thought it was perhaps a balloon that had caught fire, but the great velocity and the whistling sound which came from that body intrigued them. “The globe slowed down, made some oscillations and precipitated itself towards the top of a hill, unearthing plants along the slope. The heat which emanated from it was so intense that soon the grass and the small tree started burning. The peasants succeeded in controlling the fire which threatened to spread to the whole area. “In the evening this sphere was still warm and then an extraordinary happened, not to say an incredible. The witnesses were ;two mayors, a doctor and three other authorities who confirm my report, in additionto the dozens of peasants who were present. “This sphere, which would have been large enough to contain a carriage, had not suffered from all that flight. It excited so much curiousity that people came from all parts to see it. Then all of a sudden a kind of door opened and, there is the interesting thing,a person like us came out of it,but this person “was dressed in a strange way, wearing a tight-fitting suit and, seeing all that crowd, said some words which were  not understood and fled into the woods. Instinctively, the peasants stepped back,in fear, and this saved them because soon after that the sphere exploded in silence, throwing pieces everywhere, and these pieces burned until they were reduced to powder.

October 4th. Astronomer Glaisher reports luminous disk ‘sending out quick flickering waves of  light’.

Prof. Faraday had described under the name of the glow discharge. Indeed, he had himself imitated the phenomenon artificially; and had recorded a similar fact which had occurred to a vessel when sailing close on a wind under reefed topsails. They saw bearing down from windward, straight on the ship, two wheels of fire, which the men described as rolling mill-stones of fire. When they came near, an awful crash took place, the topmasts were shivered to pieces, and the crew experienced the same overpowering sulphurous stench. The phenomena were thus accounted for: – a highly-charged thunder-cloud was brought down by the wind on the ship; its distance from the sea, though beyond the striking distance, admitted of the “glow discharge,” which produced the appearance of the balls or wheels of fire that so alarmed the men. When the cloud came near the ship, its masts brought it within striking distance, – when a discharge or thunder-clap took place. The sulphurous stench was a concomitant of such discharges.

September 11th. Fair Oak, Staffs, England. Between 4.15 a.m. and 4.45 a.m. several early-morning risers see a strange luminous disk, surrounded by a haze of corona, near the planet Venus. Venus is at the point of closest approach to Earth at the time.

On June 1, 1853 a luminous object was seen by many as it hovered over a Tennessee college campus. As the sun rose over the campus of Burritt College, numerous students—who apparently were early risers in those days, too—were startled to see two luminous objects in the sky. According to professor A.C. Carnes, who reported the incident in a letter to Scientific American, the first had the appearance of a small new moon, while the other resembled a large star. The small object then vanished, while the bigger one changed shape, first into a globe and then into an elongated shape parallel with the horizon. The smaller light then became visible again, and increased rapidly in size, while the other object shrank. The two objects continued fluctuating in a similar fashion for the next 30 minutes. “The students have asked for an explanation, but neither the President nor Professors are satisfied as to the character of the lights,” wrote Carnes. While he himself speculated that the occurrence might have been caused somehow by atmospheric moisture, the incident remains a mystery.

“Mr. Lumley states that about the middle of last September, he was engaged in trapping in the mountains about 75-or-100 above the Great Falls of the Upper Missouri and in the neighborhood of what is known as Cadotte Pass. Just after sunset one evening, Mr. James Lumley beheld a bright luminous body in the heavens which moved with great rapidity in an easterly direction. It was plainly visible for at least 5 seconds when it suddenly separated into particles, resembling — as Mr. Lumley describes it — the bursting of a sky-rocket in the air. A few minutes later, he heard a heavy explosion which jarred the earth very perceptibly. This was shortly after followed by a rushing sound like a tornado sweeping through the forest. A strong wind sprang up about the same time, but suddenly subsided. The air was also filled with a peculiar odor of a sulfurous The ensuing day, he discovered the object it was discovered that it had, upon impact, divided into different compartments. Also in various places it was carved with curious hieroglyphics.

From the log/account of a ship’s captain (F.W. Banner): of the Lady of the Lake at Latitude 50° 47’ N., Longitude 27° 52’ W  .“The sailors saw a remarkable object or cloud in the sky. It was a cloud of circular form with an included semi-circle divided into four parts, the central dividing shaft beginning at the center of the circle and extending far outward, and then curving backward. The rear hemisphere or trailing edge is surrounded by a fuzz or luminous band, divided into four equal sectors. From the centre extends a long curved tail. The object appeared flying against the wind, and was visible until the dusk or clouds obscured it. The thing traveled from a point 20 degrees above the horizon to a point about 80 degrees above. Then it settled down to the Northeast, having appeared from the South, Southeast. It came up obliquely against the wind and finally settled down in the wind’s eye. For half-an-hour, this form was visible. Then it finally did disappear” . Captain Banner made a drawing of the object.

Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. This photo is dubbed, “the oldest UFO photograph ever taken.” This item was the subject of bidding at Ebay in 2002, when finally the photo was purchased for $385.00 by Samuel M. Sherman, who was the president of Independent-International Pictures Corp. This was originally a “stereo” photograph. Certainly it was difficult to manipulate photos at that time, and remember, there were no flying objects then; at least, not from this world. Thanks to a reader, we now have the original “stereo” photo.

March 22nd. Captain Banner and the crew, see an amazing object flying along under the clouds. It is circular.

August 1st. A tremendous red disk hovers over Marseilles, France, at 10.43 p.m., stationary until 10.52 p.m. Then it moves North for seven minutes, halts again, then moves East, disappearing at 11.3 p.m. Venus again near inferior conjunction.

August 29th. France. Astronomer Trouvelet reports formations of highly complex objects; some triangular, some round, others many-sided. Some of them hover, then move off One appears to go wrong, to fall, to crash. As it falls it oscillates from side to side like a disk falling through water, or like a flying disc that has suddenly lost its motive power.

One of the earliest mentions of UFO activity down under dates back to 1873 and comes from the South Australian Register. It concerns a bright light that followed a sailing ship for almost an hour. Captain Lebman, of the ship Adelheid, described the light as “milky-white”. He said it came over the ship in waves, with one wave every two seconds between 10:30 and 11:30 at night.
“A shuddering feeling was experienced at the sight,” Captain Lebman said, “and the intense light made the eyes ache. During the whole time the sea was illuminated, though not vividly. For a quarter of an hour after it was over, flashes of light were perceptible in the water

June 17th. Fantastic glowing projectile shoots out from the planet Mars and explodes on reaching Earth. Seen in Austria, Hungary and Silesia simultaneously. Astronomer Galle, who observed it by telescope, said it was seen ‘to emerge and separate itself from the disk of the planet Mars’. Dr. Sage at Rybnik, Poland, said that an object of some kind did in fact issue from Mars and explode in our upper atmosphere. He was observing the planet ‘attentively at the time’.

May 15th. Persian Gulf. Admiralty report by H.M.S.   Vulture of two colossal rotating luminous wheels which sink slowly down from just above the surface till they disappear in the depths.  That Commander J. E. Pringle, of H. M. S. Vulture, had reported that, at Lat. 26° 26′ N., and Long. 53° 11’ E.–in the Persian Gulf–May 15, 1879, he had noticed luminous waves or pulsations in the water, moving at great speed. This time we have a definite datum upon origin somewhere below the surface. It is said that these waves of light passed under the Vulture. “On looking toward the east, the appearance was that of a revolving wheel with a center on that bearing, and whose spokes were illuminated, and, looking toward the west, a similar wheel appeared to be revolving, but in the opposite direction.” Or finally as to submergence–“These waves of light extended from the surface well under the water.” It is Commander Pringle’s opinion that the shafts constituted one wheel, and that doubling was an illusion. He judges the shafts to have been about 25 feet broad, and the spaces about 100. Velocity about 84 miles an hour. Duration about 35 minutes.

Again, in 1880, a show that lasted for an hour was seen by R. E. Harris, Commander of the S.S. Shahjehan, on January 5th. He recounted:
“The most remarkable phenomenon that I have ever seen at sea was witnessed by myself and officers . . . between Oyster Reef and Pigeon Key [Malabar Coast]. At 10 p.m. we were steaming along very comfortably; there was a perfect calm, the water was without a ripple in it, the sky was cloudless and, there being no moon, the stars shone brightly. The atmosphere was beautifully clear, and the night was one of great quietude. ”
I went on deck, and at once observed a streak of white matter on the horizon bearing south-southwest. I went on the bridge and pointed it out to the third officer. In a few minutes it had assumed the shape of a segment of a circle measuring about 45 degrees in length and several degrees in altitude about its center. At this time it shone with a peculiar but beautiful milky whiteness, and resembled . . . the nebulae sometimes seen in the heavens. We were steaming to the southward, and as the bank of light extended, one of its arms crossed our path. The whole thing appeared so foreign to anything I had ever seen, and so wonderful, that I stopped the ship just on its outskirts so that I might try for a true and just conception of what it really was. By this time all the officers and engineers had assembled on deck . . . and all were equally astonished and interested.”
“Some little time before the first body of light reached the ship I saw [with my night glasses] a huge mass of nebulous matter. I distinctly saw spaces between what again appeared to be waves of light of great lustre. These came rolling on with ever increasing rapidity till they reached the ship, and in a short time the ship was completely surrounded with one great body of undulating light, which soon extended to the horizon on all sides. On looking into the water, it was seen to be studded with patches of faint, luminous, inanimate matter, measuring about two feet in diameter. . . . The waves (of light) stood many degrees above the water, like a highly luminous mist, and obscured . . . the distant horizon; and as wave succeeded wave in rapid succession, one of the most grand and brilliant, yet solemn, spectacles . . . was here witnessed. [The waves of light were not] mere ripplings . . . but waves of great length and breadth . . . great bodies of light. If the sea could be converted into a huge mirror and thousands of powerful electric lights were made to throw their rays across it, it would convey no adequate idea of this strange yet grand phenomenon.”
“As the waves of light converged upon the ship from all sides, they appeared higher than her hull and looked as if they were about to envelop her, and as they impinged upon her, her sides seemed to collapse and expand.” “Whilst this was going on, the ship was perfectly at rest, and the water was like a millpond.

Persian gulf  whilst on a voyage up the Persian Gulf. In May 1880, on board the British India Company’s steamer Patna, I was amazed to see the following  “ it was a dark night, about 11:30 P.M., there suddenly appeared on each side of the ship an enormous luminous wheel, whirling around, the spokes of which seemed to brush the ship along. The spokes would be 200 or 300 yards long and resembled the birch rods of the dames’ schools. Each wheel contained about sixteen spokes, and, although the wheels must have been some 500 or 600 yards in diameter, the spokes could be distinctly seen all the way round. The phosphorescent gleam seemed to glide along flat on the surface of the sea, no light being visible in the air above the water. The appearance of the spokes could be almost exactly represented by standing in a boat and flashing a bull’s-eye lantern horizontally along the surface of the water, round and round. I may mention that the phenomenon was also seen by Captain Avern, of the Patna, and Mr. Manning, third officer.

In the Cruise of the Bacchante, a work compiled from the journals of the late King George V of England ( then Duke of York ) and his brother Prince Albert Victor, is reported the sighting of a phantom ship. The brothers served as midshipmen on H.M.S. Bacchante’s round the world voyage between 1879 and 1882. At 4 A.M. on July 11, 1881 while the vessel was sailing to Sydney from Melbourne, Australia, the late King’s diary says an eerie red light was noticed. His account follows:
In the midst of the red light, the masts, spars and sails of a brig two hundred yards distant stood out in strong relief as she came up on the port bow. The lookout in the forecastle reported her as close to the bow, while also the officer of the watch from the bridge clearly saw her. So did the quarterdeck midshipman, who was sent forward at once to the forecastle; but on arriving, there was no vestige or sign of any material ship. The night was clear and the sea calm.
Thirteen persons altogether saw her. Two other ships of the squadron, the Tourmaline and the Cleopatra, who were sailing off our starboard bow, asked whether we had seen the strange red light.

This is a little know UFO case that that occurred more than 125 years ago. During the night of 24th of October last which was rainy and tempestuous. a family of nine persons, sleeping in a hut a few leagues (a league is anywhere from 2.5-5 miles) from Maracaibo [Venezuela], were awakened by a loud humming noise and a vivid dazzling light, which brilliantly illuminated the interior of the house. The occupants, completely terror stricken, and believing, as they relate, that the end of the world had come, threw themselves on their knees and commenced to pray, but their devotions were almost immediately interrupted by violent vomiting and extensive swellings commenced to appear in the upper part of their bodies, this being particularly noticeable about the face and lips.. By all accounts the nine family members their animals and the vegetation suffered terrible burns as though exposed to some type of radiation the effects of which at that time were unknown.

Captain Moore, British steamship Siberian, reports, “Nov. 12, midnight, Cape Race bearing west by north, distant ten miles, wind strong south by east, a large ball of fire appeared to rise out of the sea to a height of about fifty feet and come right against the wind close up to the ship. It then altered its course and ran along with the ship to a distance of about one and one-half miles. In about two minutes it again altered its course and went away to the south-east against the wind. It lasted, in all, not over five minutes. Have noticed the same phenomenon before off Cape Race, and it seemed to indicate that an easterly or south-easterly gale was coming on.”

HARDIN, Ill., Sept. 18. -Suddenly the whole point of the island was illumined as a bright red object rose apparently from the water and glided up into the air. Ascending probably to a height of forty yards, the watchers saw the lurid ball fade away. The investigating party had seen what they wanted. They made a mad rush for the boat, but, just as they reached the place where it had been left, they were horrified to see the little craft moving out on the water from the island. At first its only occupant seemed to be the red ball of fire, but the next moment the watchers saw the crimson object gradually take the form of a man, and they saw him, too, dip the oars at regular intervals and pull a long, steady stroke. The man’s features were fully concealed by a wide-rimmed slouch hat which was drawn over his face. A peculiar light illumined the boat and the waters around it, making the craft and its mysterious occupant perfectly discernible to the party on the shore, who stood paralyzed with fear, unable to speak or move, their eyes riveted by some mysterious influence they could not resist on the spectral object before them. The boat was now about in midstream, and suddenly the group of watchers saw the skiff’s occupant change again into the crimson ball. Then it slowly began to move upward, and when it was about parallel with the tops of the trees on the island, it disappeared. Next instant the watchers looking across the river saw nothing but the flickering lights in Hardin. The cries of the crowd on the island awakened a sleeping fisherman on the opposite side of the river, and he kindly pulled across and rescued the ghost-seeking youths. The fiery spook, it is said, still makes its nightly trips to Diamond Island, but no more investigating parties have ventured across to solve the mystery

April  11 Sworn Statement from an Alexander Hamilton at his farm in LeRoy, Kansas: “Last night about 10:30, we were awakened by a noise among the cattle. I arose, thinking that perhaps my bulldog was performing his pranks. But upon going to the door, I saw to my utter astonishment that an airship was slowly descending upon my cow lot, about 40 rods from the house.” Hamilton also described it as a cigar-shaped portion about 300 feet long with a carriage underneath. The carriage was of some transparent material. It was brightly lighted within. It contained 6 on the strangest beings he had ever seen

April 17, 1897 at about 6 a.m. that morning, according to contemporaneous Dallas Morning News account, citizens of the small town of Aurora were awakened by the appearance of what the writer referred to as an “airship.” The craft reportedly malfunctioned and stalled, and crashed into a windmill on the property of a local judge, scattering debris over several acres. “The pilot of the ship is supposed to have been the only one aboard and, while his remains were badly disfigured, enough of the original has been picked up to show that he was not an inhabitant of this world,” According to the Morning News account in 1973, a United Press International reporter located a 91-year-old resident, Mary Evans, who recalled her parents visiting the crash site, and telling her that the body of the UFO pilot had been buried in the town cemetery.

Early in the 19th century saw the  development of many varying flying machines never before seen by the general public, airships and airplanes in particular increased  dramatically the reported cases of UFO’s.  It is for this reason I have skipped  forward in time to the 1930’s as by this time, most aircraft were familiar to the general public. only leaving ultra secret MOD weapons to be unidentifiable.

The below Chronological list represents only a small portion of reports that have been researched by Government agencies and are classified as having been reported by credible witnesses, such as Air force Pilots,  Commercial pilots, Air force – Army and Navy personnel, Scientist, Police Officers etc.
